Scoping universal washroom door systems
A project-specific sequence of operation should document how the selected components behave in each required state. The diagram on this page explains component roles only. Are wave-to-lock and emergency assistance the same system?
No. Privacy locking and assistance signalling have different functions. They may be coordinated in a project, but each needs explicit equipment, behaviour and responsibilities.
Activation is one part of the room
Opening, privacy, indication and assistance have distinct roles. A device by itself does not establish the room’s accessibility.
